PATRIOTS RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM(Psychiatrically Disordered Program)The Patriot’s program is a highly specialized, program for psychiatrically disordered/dually diagnosed adolescent males. The program is designed to provide the youth with specific treatment while addressing their specific psychiatric needs. ABTC’s staff provide intensive services and case consultation on an as needed basis. Programming for these youth takes into account their need for a structured environment that allows for shorter groups, shorter but more frequent individual sessions and periods of “down time”. The unit specializes in balancing treatment along with the youth’s need to reconstitute between therapies and activities. The following is a partial list of diagnoses that may be appropriate for the Patriots program: Bi-polar disorder, ADHD, Major Depression with histories of suicidal ideation or attempts, Schizophrenia, Axis II diagnoses such as borderline and schizo-typical personality disorders. If you have questions regarding ABTC’s Patriot Program or you wish to make a referral, please call our Intake Coordinator at 847-487-9455. |
