Mission Statement

The mission of Alternative Behavior Treatment Centers is to promote healthy behaviors and relationships through prevention and treatment of at risk individuals and families.

Vision Statement

ABTC will develop international presence through centers of excellence for at risk individuals and families by utilizing state of the art treatment, research, advocacy, training and promoting effective public policy.

In order to build a network toward an international presence ABTC will focus its efforts on the expansion of the following areas:  array of services, research and training, community outreach, human resources and facilities.

We will tailor an array of culturally competent services to fit the individual, family and community needs of the people we serve.

We will utilize and contribute to cutting edge research in the field of trauma and violence prevention.

We will provide state of the art treatment and a safe, culturally sensitive environment.

We will continue to train staff and professional organizations.

We will reach out to the community by promoting education, awareness and safety.

We will continue to develop our professional staff by recognizing their commitment to the populations we serve, by respecting and understanding their rights and needs through innovative human resource initiative.

We will focus on the enhancement of our campus and community based sites to meet the growing needs of the populations we serve.

We will secure additional financial resources and will seek opportunities to ensure our continued growth and excellence. 

We will continue to advocate for effective public policy.

We will continue to develop innovative programs to respond to the evolving needs of the community and the populations we serve.

We will establish strategic goals and objectives in each of these areas and hold each other accountable for their accomplishment.
