About the ABTC Board of Directors

Deborah L. Capozzi
Deborah has worked for over 10 years in the financial services industry, including experience in Commercial Banking, Analysis, Management & Sales. At the present time, she is in the role of Vice President/Relationship Manager-Not-for-Profit Banking.

Deborah holds a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) from De Paul University and received her Bachelor's of Business Administration from St.Mary' College at Notre Dame.

In addition, Deborah has numerous volunteer involvements including Chicago Cares, Junior Achievement, High Sight and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Peter Cotsirilos, CCIM
Mr. Cotsirilos is an entrepreneur, long time real estate investor and highly regarded representative of third party property buyers and sellers. Peter's ability to maximize underperforming real estate assets is rooted in his experience as the founding principal of a high-volume, independent supermarket chain, his own real estate investing activities, and his working on behalf of third parties seeking real estate solutions to complex challenges. During his career Peter successfully built, owned and managed a high-volume supermarket for 25 years that at one time was the fourth highest volume store in a 700 store cooperative.
  • Owned and managed retail properties in the suburban Chicago market.
  • Assembled property for development, purchased, sold and leased a variety of commercial property
  • Became a top producer with Coldwell Banker Commercial.
  • Joined National Realty Network in 2006 concentrating in transactions involving office, retail and medical properties.
In addition to his business accomplishments, Peter has been active in the following professional groups and charitable organizations:
  • CCIM Institute - Attained the highly coveted CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) commercial real estate designation. A distinction held by only six percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners worldwide.

Peter holds a State of Illinois real estate broker license.

Michaeline Gordon
Ms. Gordon focuses her practice in estate planning, probate, business-planning, including succession planning and asset protection. She works with clients to plan for wealth protection and tax-efficient transfer. Ms Gordon helps clients with will and trust planning, generational planning, charitable planning and she advises fiduciaries on trust administration.

Michaeline lectures frequently to professional groups and participates as a speaker in the Lorman Education Series and the National Business Institute on estate planning and asset protection topics. She is a graduate of the John Marshall Law School and received her L.L.M. in Taxation from the DePaul College of Law.

Kristyn Harrell
Kristyn Harrell, is a Director in the Public Finance group of BMO Capital Markets in Chicago. She has 11 years of public finance experience with a primary focus on 501(c)(3) education, cultural and social service organizations.

Kristyn has worked with a variety of colleges, universities, cultural institutions, private schools and other not-for-profits. She has extensive experience advising not-for-profit clients on various financing strategies such as debt structuring alternatives, refunding of existing debt, debt capacity analysis, credit enhancement, and use of derivatives.

Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets, Kristyn held similar positions at LaSalle Financial Services and at J.P. Morgan Securities. Additionally, she worked for the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs as the Director of Finance and Administration for the Gallery 37 Program.

Kristyn has a Bachelor's degree in French and International Studies from Washington University and a Masters of Public Affairs with an area of concentration in Public Finance from Indiana University. She currently resides in Oak Park, IL with her husband, Mike and her three children Henry, Ben and Julia.
